Bee Creative Academy's New Performing Arts Program

Bee Creative Academy has an exciting new performing arts program for children ages 2-5. In partnership with KinderTime, a mobile arts and child developmental activities provider; registration is now open through Feburary 17th.
Bee Creative Academy will be offering four programs: dance combo, karate, music, and gymnastics. The programs will focus on:
Dance Combo
Designed for boys and girls to improve body awareness and self-confidence while teaching them the basics of a variety of dance styles. The program is designed to introduce & allow kids to experience a variety of different dance styles including: Hip-hop, Jazz, Flamenco, Square dance, Latin Dance and Irish dance. Children will learn dance routines and be encouraged to explore the world with their whole body. Each lesson incorporates developmentally appropriate music, games and props.
Karate
Designed to give kids a taste of karate while teaching safety through fun activities and games. Children will learn the basics of karate through the use of games, projects, role-play and traditional karate teaching methods. Kids will also learn how to stay safe and what to do in emergencies.
Music
Children will engage their minds and bodies through a variety of music activities. Activities inlcude learning rhythmic rhymes, participating in instrumental jam sessions and movement activities. Children will be introduced to basic musical notation and a variety of instruments, such as the guitar, flute, keyboard, and percussion instruments. Kids will act out stories, play singing games, and learn to use movement and music in meaningful ways.
Gymnastics
Designed to promote balance, strength, coordination, left & right skills, and eye-hand coordination. The students will learn to work together in fun activities using props such as balancing ropes, beams, tumbling mats, scarves, balls, hoops and more.
Classes are scheduled to begin March 2nd. The final offering of classes will be determined based on enrollment, so don't forget to register your kids by Feburary 17th.
