Google Launches YouTube Kids

Google officialluy unveiled their new YouTube Kids app. Refered to as the "first Google product built from the ground up with the little ones in mind," the app will let "curious little minds dive into a world of discovery, learning and entertainment."
Launching for free, the app will be available in the U.S. on Google Play Store as well as on the Apple App Store. Packed full with content geared for families, a colorful interface along with easy-to-navigate icons, the kid-focused YouTube app also includes controls so parents can set boundaries for their children. They include limits to screen time, a way to keep the volume down, as well as a way to disable search.
On launching the app for the first time parents and caregivers are given a series of options to choose settings. You can gain access to parental controls to make changes by typing a 4 digit numerical code on the screen. Your kids will come across familar faces when perusing the app including the gang from "Sesame Street," Thomas & Friends," "Angelina Ballerina," and "Barney & Friends." With tabs for learning, music, and to explore, the opportunites for fun are endless.
